What we do
Rutgers Enactus is a social entrepreneurship club, meaning that we recognize and research social and environmental issues, and create non-profit projects that work to build a sustainable solution for the problem.
What is enactus?
Rutgers Enactus is a chapter of Enactus, a worldwide organization that is dedicated to creating a better world while developing the next generation of leaders and social innovators. The Enactus network of global business, academic and student leaders are unified by the vision to create a better, more sustainable world.

Enactus chapters are found in universities across the world, and in the past chapters competed against each other at the National and Worldwide level. Rutgers Enactus found great success at the Enactus National Competition, winning 1st in our category in 2023 with our presentation of Agoraponic Farms!

Project

If there is a cause that you're passionate about, join our Research & Development Team where you can research and explore the issue
If the R&D initiative is able to create a sustainable plan and strategy and gets approved by the Rutgers Enactus Executive Board, the initiative will graduate into a project
Once the project is self-sustaining and has a sustainable source of income, the project graduates from Rutgers Enactus and operates on its own.
R&D phase
Once an idea becomes a R&D initiative, you will join a team with other members to conduct research and formulate a sustainable plan for a project.
Project
Projects have full teams with project leaders. During this phase the project implements their plan by creating a sustainable nonprofit organization or business that serves its target audience.
