This initiative aims to grow, develop, and raise money/awareness for a New Brunswick cat adoption center, and help feed the cats who have not found a home. They are planning on growing Scarlet Paws’s social media presence and hosting fundraisers.

Environmental sustainability project (ESP)
This initiative is committed to creating a more sustainable and less wasteful campus culture. Their goal is to take action towards the reduction of carbon emissions and other pollutants in the Rutgers and New Brunswick communities. Through research and outreach, they are developing their educational Instagram account that will help create a more environmentally friendly university, community, and world.

Ignite
This initiative aims to help people experiencing homelessness or unemployment. Their goal is to help the underprivileged population develop business skills that will eventually help them secure a job. They plan on achieving this by gathering volunteers, offering bi-weekly workshops and speaker sessions, and creating a strong community between Rutgers and the people of New Brunswick.
